Gordon Athletics Summer Camps ages 6 - 17 Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball

Gordon College Athletics Summer Camps 2013 offer a variety of fun-filled athletic camps for youth. Each sport is directed by Division III head athletic coaches and include additional instruction from college players, fellow college coaches.

Emphasis at each camp is on teaching fundamentals, competition, and instilling a basic love for the game.

Pop Goes the Book

Come explore the world of pop-up books at the Wenham Museum!

This fun and engaging exhibit explores the world of pop-up books through an amazing array of pop-ups on display as well as hands-on opportunities for you to make your own pop-ups, be a character in a giant interactive pop-up book, and an exploration of the history and mechanics of pop-up creations.

Children's Tea at the Wenham Tea House

Have tea with a princess at the Wenham Tea House's childrens tea!

The Wenham Tea House invites you to a Children's Tea with Carole Finn Weidman! These teas are magical experiences for girls and boys of all ages to interact with their favorite storybook character. Carole performs over 30 well-known princesses and fairy tale characters creating memories for children that will last a lifetime. Carole has performed over 1000 shows for area schools, libraries, and private birthday parties over a span of a 10-year acting career.

Wenham Museum is pround to annouce the 2nd Annual Faery Festival at Wenham Museum!

Gossamer wings, faery wands, and enchanting tales of far away places. Sip faery tea and decorate tiny faery houses with special guest Liza Walsh author of the Fairy Garden Handbook. Wear your own costume or borrow one of ours. Professional photographs are available through Underwood Photography. Reserve a copy of the fairy book in the Museum Shop.

NMYO’s Afternoon of Concerts

Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra, NMYO’s Afternoon of Concerts

Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras (NMYO) will be presenting their Spring Afternoon of Concerts on Sunday, May 5th at Gordon College Chapel in Wenham, MA. The afternoon will be split into two events – a concert at 2:30pm featuring Prelude and Overture String Ensemble, Intermezzo Orchestra, Junior Flute Choir, and Flute Choir; and a concert at 5:00pm featuring the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Select Flute Choir.

In a continuing effort to instill music appreciation at an early age, Music Mania encourages students to explore basic concepts such as pitch matching, healthy use of the singing voice and proper technique for classroom instruments. Students are introduced to musical theater, symphonic music, theory, world music and listening - all presented in exciting and fun ways using a beloved piece of children's literature as a theme for games, singing, and instrument exploration.

Summer Programs at Wenham Museum

Wenham Museum offers great Summer Programs for kids aged 5-16

Wenham Museum summer programs are just about full. If you plan to send your child to one or more of their fantastic programs, reserve your place asap.

History Alive Summer programs are unique to the North Shore, giving children the opportunity to step back and experience life, learning, and play during different periods in history. Children will have fun pitching a Civil War dog tent, cooking authentic foods, reenacting historic events, or playing games of the period.

Alice in Wonderland Tea at the Wenham Tea House

The Alice in Wonderland Tea at the Wenham Tea House is cohosted by Wenham Museum

The Wenham Tea House is joining forces with the Wenham Museum to host an Alice in Wonderland Tea in Recognition of the Museum’s 'Pop Goes the Book Exhibit. Give your child a memory that will last a lifetime at a tea with their favorite storybook character and a visit to the museum.
