Topsfield Fair

Topsfield Fair is one of the longest running annual fairs in the United States

The Topsfield Fair is a perennial favorite for us.  We're not the biggest fans of the midway, although it is always worth a walkthrough and a ride or two.  We love fruits and vegetables, and are always on the lookout for the winning 'biggest pumpkin'.  Another favorite is checking out the pigs and other farm animals, as well as the interesting variety of guinea pigs and rabbits.

2014 Marblehead Gingerbread Festival

The Marblehead Gingerbread Festival is part of the Marblehead Christmas Walk!

Come see over 100 locally and professionally made gingerbread creations on display at the historic Jeremiah Lee Mansion in Marblehead, MA during this year's Marblehead Christmas Walk. Community members, businesses, and families are building and donating dozens of gingerbread houses, boats and local buildings that will be on display and available for raffle throughout the weekend. Days and times vary so check the times!

Marblehead Christmas Walk

Experience the beginning of the holiday season at Marblehead's Christmas Walk!

The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce invites you to Marblehead to enjoy four days of holiday festivities, family events and activities!  Come for one or all four days with highlights that include Santa's arrival by lobster boat, the town tree lighting ceremony, Holiday shopping preview parties, the Christmas Walk Parade, 'Holidays are Grand' live performances, a great raffle with great prizes, and all kinds of family events and activities sponsored by local merchants and organizations! And, for the first time in the history of the Christmas Walk, the Chamber in partnership with National Grand Bank will be using a locally grown tree.

Gingerbread Contest & Gingerbread Express

Wenham Museum Gingerbread Contest and Gingerbread Express Display

The Gingerbread Express model train layout brings spirit of the holidays to life in this winter-wonderland of candy covered storybook cottages created by members of our community. Bakers of all skills are invited to enter our gingerbread contest. Each entry is displayed in our Gingerbread Express Model Train Layout and returned to each baker at the end of the event.

Haunted Happenings Carnival

Enjoy the sideshow atmosphere of the The Haunted Happenings Carnival in Salem

Come try your skill at games on the arcade, ride the Ferris wheel and enjoy unique fair-style food  in a fun carnival atmosphere of the annual Haunted Happenings Carnival! There's fun for the whole family. Rides are a Fiesta Shows Production!  This year's Carnival is located on Derby Street.

Pumpkin Day at Cogswell's Grant

Pumpkin Day at Cogswell Grant is a wonderful fall afternoon event!

Celebrate the arrival of Fall. Enjoy hay wagon rides through the field in search of the perfect pumpkin, compete in a pumpkin pie-eating contest, do crafts, play games, and try cider pressing! Enjoy hot mulled apple cider and homemade pumpkin pie. The house is open for tours of one of the country's most celebrated collections of American antiques & folk art.

Newburyport's Great Pumpkin Lighting and Stroll

Carve your own pumpkin at the Great Pumpkin Lighting and Stroll in Newburyport.

Newburyport's Great Pumpkin Lighting and Stroll is a family-friendly event that will take place in Market Square. Families are encouraged to bring a carved pumpkin that will be lit and placed on the stairs of Market Square for all to enjoy! Each family will receive a votive candle that will be lit all at once at dusk - approximately 6:15 PM.

The Newburyport Harvest Festival is a tradition filled with family fun!
