Historic Stage Fort Park along Gloucester Harbor will once again blossom into the colorful 33rd Annual Gloucester Waterfront Festival. A collection of over 175 Juried Artists and Craftsmen from throughout the U.S. will display their unique creations, live music, plus delicious ethnic foods. Morning at the Museum

Drop off your 6-12 year old at Cape Ann Museum to learn about art and history

Morning at the Museum is a drop off program for children ages 6 to 12. Visit the Museum for art and history activities from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on select Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the summer. This program is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members. Space is limited. Reservations are required.

Nature Art Classes at Joppa Flats: Summer Series

Nature's beauty is all around us. Let's open our eyes and explore nature as artistic inspiration! Join teachers Jan and Lee for these series, and learn how creativity intersects with science, technique, and construction in a fun and rewarding way. Materials will be provided. Parents are welcome but not required to stay. Each series requires a minimum of four participants. Register individually for these classes, when we'll be enjoying the best of Nature Art. Cool projects each week will help you beat the heat!

Celebrating it's 50th year in 2015, the Marblehead Festival of Arts has had a rich history in producing an annual summer arts Festival over the July 4th holiday week. This premier Festival hosts art exhibits in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Photography, Crafts, Plein aire Painting, Senior Art, Student Art and Youth Art. There's also a lot of great events and activities geared toward keeping kids and families engaged and entertained!

How wonderful to have kids view the world through a 64-color box of Crayola Crayons instead of an 8-color box, and the Children's Festival is here to help bring out the artist in every child. The Children’s Festival is a unique "hands on" arts-based program of activities directed toward children aged ten years and younger. This year’s theme is “50 Years of Arts and Crafts” as part of Marblehead Festival of Arts.

Come to the 13th annual Beverly Arts Fest in Downtown Beverly! With more than 4,000 people in attendance every year, the annual Arts Fest Beverly features many attractions, lots of family entertainment and 100 plus juried artists and crafters exhibiting everything from fine art, photography, jewelry, fiber, wood, sculpture, glass, ceramics and mixed media. Artists and crafts people will represent many communities of the North Shore, many of whom are from Beverly.  Most of the work will be priced between $10 and $700 with something for everyone!

4th Annual Beverly Bike Drive

Bring your used and old bikes and parts to Bevenrly MA Commons!

The 4th Annual Beverly Bike Drive will be held at the Beverly Common. Working in partnership with the Boston-based non-profit Bikes Not Bombs, the Beverly Bike Committee is collecting used bicycles, bike frames, bike parts, and tires. Bikes Not Bombs will fix up the bicycles so they can be given to those who most need them. Bikes Not Bombs annually delivers thousands of bicycles to local families and partner communities around the globe. There will be free smoothies (made with a bike-powered blender) for all those who drop off at Common.
