The Newburyport Farmers Summer Market celebrates local fresh produce every Sunday morning rain or shine!  Start your Sunday browsing fresh North Shore local produce, meats, cheeses, and seafood in an open air market atmosphere! Food and beverage vendors offer fresh hot coffee, breakfast treats and delicious food. Live music every week!

Essex Clam Fest 2014

Enjoy food, live music and all kinds of family fun at the Essex Clam Fest!

There's no better place in New England to eat clams than Essex, Massachusetts! Now in its 32nd year, this local festival takes place in Memorial Park in downtown Essex boasts 40 to 50 food, craft, and local product vendors. The Essex Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 32nd annual Essex ClamFest in Memorial Park in Essex. The highlight of the day will be the Clam Chowder Tasting, a competition that pits area restaurants against one another to determine who serves the best clam chowder on Cape Ann. Local restaurants are expected to serve up their favorite chowder recipes starting at noon and ending about 2 pm.

Judges of the chowder will be announced in advance. The public will also have the opportunity to sample and vote on their favorite chowder.

In addition to the Chowder competition, an interesting variety of activities has been planned, including:

  • An arts and crafts area
  • Entertainment throughout the afternoon
  • The Lions Club Food Pavilion
  • An Ipswich Ale Station
  • Organization, church, and non-profit tables
  • Kids Rides and Games
  • A Health Fair

Fifth Annual Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit

Pingree School Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit in Hamilton MA

The fifth annual Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit at Pingree School is open free to the public every day during daylight hours until November 23, including a reception with the artists on September 27 at 1 p.m. Forty-five sculptures are on display on the 100-acre campus at 537 Highland Street in South Hamilton.
